Meet Your Orthotist

At Don and Doff Orthotics, care is centred on accessibility, independence and personalised treatment, led by Anastasia Stefanis whose approach blends clinical expertise with a strong focus on individual needs.

Founded in 2012, Don and Doff supports people to move more comfortably and participate more fully in everyday life through tailored orthotic solutions.

Anastasia has 20 years of experience as a Certified Orthotist, with senior hospital roles at Sydney Children’s Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, alongside her private practice.

Orthotics and Assistive Technology

Orthotics is a type of Assistive technology that is fitted to the external surface of the body to assist with any of the following: function, activities of daily living, mobility, protection and realignment.

An Orthotics assessment will be required to determine the best orthosis to meet your needs.

An Orthotist is an allied health professional specialised in Orthotic prescription and design to meet your specific needs.

The ‘Orthosis assistive technology’ can encompass any part of your body from head to foot. Some examples include: neck cervical orthosis (brace) , spinal brace , shoulder brace or Ankle Foot orthosis.
